Synthetic Gypsum Plant
With suitable processes and devices, synthetic gypsum as industrial by-product can be a kind of cost-effective material, so that we’ve developed the synthetic gypsum plant. Synthetic gypsum production consists of a series of processes, including material handling and feeding, drying, calcining, grinding and milling, etc., as described below:
Features of Synthetic Gypsum Plant
Synthetic gypsum is an industrial by-product, containing over 10% of free water. Therefore we’ve improved processes according to our experiences: by pre-dry dihydrate gypsum first, then calcining using boiling furnace, we can get high qualified synthetic gypsum. Our plant also features:
- New boiling furnace calcining process;
- Gypsum powder aging process in finished silo by turning-over, get powder homogenized and cooled-down, avoid re-calcining;
- Heat source: air heater using coal, gas (light oil) as fuel serves as heat source, using hot air as heat exchange medium, thermal efficiency > 85%;
Preheating utilization system is applied, leading exhaust gas to the outlet position, getting it mixed with the high temperature flue gas stroke, to effectively save energy;
- Using PLC, pressure transmitter and temperature electric regulation for furnace controlling. Outlet temperature of the system is controlled within the range of ±30℃. Products of the system features stable quality.
- Rigorous experiments and accurate experimental devices are performed and applied in every part of our production, including raw material tests, production process experiments, quality inspection before leaving the factory, etc.
- Dust removing system applies bag dust remover, the system is ensured running in negative pressure state. Waste gets discharged after being cleaned by dust removing.
Synthetic Gypsum Parameters:
- Fineness: ≥80 mesh
- Folding strength (direct relationship with raw material): ≥1.8MPa; compressive strength: ≥3.8MPa.
- Main phase composition(adjustable) The content of hydrated gypsum:≥80%
The content of raw gypsum:<5% The content of anhydrite(Ⅲ type): <5%
- Initial setting time:3-8min(adjustable);final setting time:6-15min (adjustable).
